Meet Amy
Amy Chester has been with the City of Hardeeville’s Finance team since August 2017 and has lived in the city since 2009. As the Accounting Manager, she is responsible for managing the general ledger, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accurate financial records. Her key duties include managing biweekly payroll, overseeing the month-end close process, and assisting in the preparation of the City’s annual budget by collaborating with various departments and leadership to allocate funds effectively. Amy also works closely with auditors to ensure financial records are complete and compliant.
