Meet Jennifer
For more than twenty-seven years, Jennifer Combs has dedicated her career to building stronger, healthier communities through parks, recreation, and tourism. With a lifelong passion for public service and a deep commitment to enhancing quality of life, Jennifer brings both vision and experience to her role as the Director of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism for the City of Hardeeville. Since joining the City, Jennifer has played an instrumental role in the department’s growth, helping Hardeeville respond to the needs of a rapidly expanding population. Her leadership has guided several major projects, including the acquisition of a 1,330-acre conservation park, extensive upgrades to the Richard Gray Recreation Complex, and the development of a 40,000-square-foot Recreation Center set to open soon. She has also led both short- and long-term master planning efforts to ensure the department’s continued success well into the future. Jennifer is a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional whose work is driven by the core values of CARE: Creating economic impacts, Advancing conservation, Rejuvenating health and wellness, and Enhancing the quality of life. Her commitment to those pillars is reflected in every initiative she leads, from community events to capital improvement projects.
